KATHMANDU: In commemoration of the 302nd Prithivi Jayanti and National Unity Day, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is hosting a tea reception at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu, on Poush 27 (January 12).
Mohan Shrestha, RPP Spokesperson, stated that guests, including the President, Prime Minister, leaders from various political parties, representatives from diplomatic and constitutional bodies, religious associations, industrialists, businessmen, professionals, and intellectuals, have all been extended invitations to partake in this reception.
The highlight of the gathering will be a tea ceremony attended by the President and the Prime Minister, paying tribute to the late King Prithivi Nsrayan Shah who played a pivotal role in shaping modern Nepal by unifying diverse states.
Shrestha stated that the party has instructed all its constituents to observe National Unity Day at the central, state, and local levels.
