Two-way traffic resumes via Daunne

NAWALPARASI: The two-way traffic has been resumed in Daunne from today.

The transport service was disrupted after a section of the East-West highway at Daunne sunk due to inundation caused by incessant rainfall.

Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer Resham Bohara of the District Police Office said that after repairing a section of the road in Khursani Khola in Bardghat Municipality-4 Daunne at 5:30 pm last Friday, the two way traffic has been resumed from 11 am today.

Even though the one-way traffic was resumed from 9 am on Saturday, cargo vehicles were not allowed.
