Six Nepali Congress ministers resign in Bagmati Province

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has withdrawn its support from the Bagmati Provincial government following the dismissal of the alliance with CPN (Maoist Center) at the central level.

As a result, six ministers in the province tendered their resignations on Wednesday.

The outgoing ministers include Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Bahadur Singh Lama, Industry, Commerce, Land, and Administration Minister Ram Krishna Chitrakar, Health Minister Uttam Joshi, Forest and Environment Minister Masina Khadka, Tourism Minister Pukar Maharjan, and Drinking Water and Irrigation Minister Tirtha Lama.
