KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has been officially invited to visit China in the first week of December.

According to Foreign Ministry sources, Chinese Premier Li Qiang extended the invitation for Prime Minister Oli to visit from December 2-6 this year.

“The invitation has been received; now a decision needs to be made on our side,” the source confirmed.

The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has also announced the invitation and confirmed that the visit is scheduled.

This will be PM Oli’s first official foreign visit since assuming office on July 15.

While he traveled to the United States previously to address the United Nations General Assembly, this trip to China will be his first official visit abroad.
