Cabinet approves PM Oli’s US visit



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s visit to the United States (US) has been officially approved.

The Council of Ministers held on Thursday approved Prime Minister Oli’s visit to the United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly from September 10 to 28.

The Prime Minister’s delegation will include his wife, Radhika Shakya; Foreign Minister; Chief Advisor; Foreign Secretary; and his personal physician.

Government Spokesperson and Communications Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung said that the meeting also approved a loan of Rs 600 million for the Dairy Development Corporation (DDC).

Additionally, the meeting decided to award Palesha Govardhan Rs 650,000 for her performance in the Paralympics.
