KANCHANPUR: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has called on the public to place their trust in the new political agreement between the two largest parties in parliament, the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress.

He emphasized that there should be no doubts about the understanding reached between the two parties.

“The government was formed based on a seven-point agreement between the two parties. This alliance will continue until the upcoming election,” the Home Minister stated.

Additionally, Lekhak addressed the ongoing investigation into the Nirmala Panta murder case, affirming his commitment to its thorough examination.

“I have taken the Nirmala Panta murder case very seriously. This case will be thoroughly investigated,” he said.

Nirmala Panta, a 13-year-old from Bhimdutta Municipality-2 in Kanchanpur, was tragically murdered after being raped on July 26, 2018.
