Doti Jeep Accident: Two killed, seven injured



DOTI: Two people died and seven others were injured in a road mishap in Doti district this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Dhauli Devi Bhattarai, 40, and three-year-old Ritika Parki, both from Lekam Rural Municipality-4 in Darchula district, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhim Lal Bhattarai at the District Police Office.

The jeep, carrying nine people including the driver, met with an accident while heading towards Dhangadhi from Darchula.

Dhauli Devi died on the spot, while Ritika succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

The injured are receiving treatment at a local health post.
