NC disputes PM Dahal’s accusations, concludes Dahal inflicted a second blow

KATHMANDU: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) has concluded that Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has delivered a second blow of betrayal.

Following the party’s CWC meeting, NC Joint General Secretary Badri Pandey stated to Khabarhub that the party has reached the conclusion that the collapse of the ruling coalition is due to PM Dahal’s unstable nature and his betrayal to NC once again.

The CWC meeting took place at the residence of party president Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday evening.

NC Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat conveyed that the party has decided to retract support provided to Prime Minister Dahal and take on the role of a responsible opposition party.

“Prime Minister’s decision has added instability to the country and has further jeopardized the economy,” he added.

Dr. Mahat also emphasized that the Prime Minister’s allegations during the coalition breakup were baseless, and his actions went against the election mandate.
