District Court extends three days remand for investigation into Arun Chaudhary’s case



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has granted a three-day extension for the investigation against Arun Chaudhary and three others, who have been arrested on charges of grabbing 10 ropanis of land in Bansbari.

The individuals under scrutiny include Chaudhary, the former director of Champion Footwear Factory, Ajit Narayan Singh Thapa, the former chairman of Bansbari Shoe Factory Limited, and Sanjay Thakur, the chairman of CG Chandbagh Residency Pvt Ltd.

They were apprehended by the Central Investigation Bureau on February 1.
