NEPSE ends week with turnover of Rs 22.16 billion

KATHMANDU: The market was active for four days this week due to a public holiday on Thursday.

The NEPSE Index closed at 2,597.49, reflecting an increase of 110.73 points (4.45%). In contrast, last week’s closing was at 2,486.76, marking a 3.49% decline.

Throughout the week, the index reached a high of 2,643.76 and a low of 2,442.61, resulting in a volatility of 201.12 points, compared to 200.23 points the previous week.

The largest intraday gain occurred on Tuesday, with the index rising by 114.70 points and a turnover of Rs 7.61 billion.

Overall, this week’s total turnover amounted to Rs 22.16 billion.
