According to the Weather Forecasting Division, light rain is occurring in Gandaki, Karnali, and a few areas of Sudurpaschim Province.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain partly to mostly cloudy nationwide.
Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is anticipated in various locations.
The Division has predicted the possibility of heavy rain in the afternoon in one or two places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, the weather will continue to be partly to mostly cloudy.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in some areas.
The Division has also indicated a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in Kosi and Lumbini provinces.
