KATHMANDU: The Nagarik Unmukti Party has announced it will join the alliance formed by the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML.

The two largest parties in the parliament have created a coalition aimed at ousting the government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and forming a new government.

During the meeting, Chaudhary confirmed that his party will be joining the Congress-UML alliance.

The Nagarik Unmukti Party, which holds four seats in the federal parliament, had previously supported PM Dahal in his vote of confidence.
