Nepal scores 46 runs for the loss of one wicket in powerplay against West Indies ‘A’



KATHMANDU: In the decisive match of the T20 series, Nepal has amassed 46 runs in the initial six overs against West Indies ‘A’.

During the first innings, Nepal effectively restricted the visiting team to 172 runs, conceding seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Now, Nepal is tasked with chasing down 173 runs for victory.

The loss of the first wicket came in the form of opener Kushal Bhurtel, who managed 13 runs before departing.

Currently, Anil Sah and Aasif Sheikh hold the crease for Nepal.

OC Mccoy secured the breakthrough wicket for West Indies ‘A’.

With the visiting side already securing the series victory prior to this match, having won three consecutive matches following an initial loss, the series stands at 3-1 in favor of West Indies ‘A’.

Nepal secured victory in the first match of the series by 4 wickets, but faced defeats by margins of 10 runs, 76 runs, and 28 runs in the second, third, and fourth matches respectively.
