Sudurpaschim CM Sodari seeking vote of confidence today

DHANGADHI: Dirgha Bahadur Sodari, the Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, is seeking a vote of confidence today.

Even though he was supposed to take the vote of confidence on Friday, it was postponed for Saturday due to the lack of political consensus.

This decision emerged from a joint meeting of ruling coalition parties held at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.

Man Bahadur Dhami, leader of the Maoist Central Province Parliamentary Party, stated that during the meeting, it was agreed that the Chief Minister would undergo the vote of confidence in the Provincial Assembly on May 4.

Sodari assumed the role of Chief Minister with the support from CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Nagarik Unmukti Party, among others.
