PM Dahal ‘inquires about’ leader Nepal’s health

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ visited the residence of former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-Unified Socialist, Madhav Kumar Nepal, in Koteshwor on Monday evening.

Sources reveal that Dahal, who recently formed a new coalition, visited Nepal in an attempt to persuade him to stay within the ruling coalition.

The pretext for the visit was enquiring about Nepal’s health, as PM Dahal took the opportunity to discuss coalition matters.

Simultaneously, a meeting among the newly formed coalition partners was ongoing at PM Dahal’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Chairman Nepal, dealing with health issues such as high blood pressure and seasonal illnesses, has been taking a break from his political engagements.
