UML ‘ready’ to include Madhav Nepal into new coalition

KATHMANDU: In what can be seen as a significant development, the CPN-UML has expressed its willingness to include Madhav Nepal in the new ruling coalition.

It should be noted that the Maoist Secretariat has already made the decision to include the Unified Socialist led by Madhav Nepal into the alliance.

Maoist Secretary Ram Karki said, “We have decided to bring Madhav Nepal’s party on board with us.”

UML Vice Chairman Ishwar Pokhrel expressed openness to discussions if required, stating, “The way of discussion is open if necessary. There are ongoing talks about moving forward together.”
