KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has made changes to the election officers across all seven provinces in anticipation of the forthcoming National Assembly (NA) election.
The decision comes as the previously appointed election officers have now assumed roles in high courts, prompting the need for fresh appointments.
The new lineup of election officers is as follows:
- Koshi Province: Judge Bishnu Prasad Gautam of Morang District Court
- Madhes Province: Judge Chitra Bahadur Gurung of Dhanusha District Court
- Bagmati Province: Judge Shree Prasad Sanjel of Makwanpur District Court
- Gandaki Province: Judge Shree Ram Acharya of Kaski District Court
- Lumbini Province: Judge Kul Prasad Pandey of Dang District Court
- Karnali Province: Judge Manoj Shrestha of Surkhet District Court
- Sudurpaschim Province: Judge Bishnu Prasad Awasti of Kailali District Court
