KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has officially approved the resignation of his chief political advisor, Haribol Gajurel, as confirmed by Govinda Acharya, the press advisor to PM Dahal.

Gajurel had tendered his resignation from the position on December 6 of the previous year, and it is deemed effective from the same date, according to Acharya.

Sources suggest that PM Dahal is currently considering an expansion of his secretariat.
