Gold and silver prices increase today

KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which had fallen for two consecutive days, saw an increase today. Similarly, the price of silver also rose.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,000 per tola, reaching Rs 150,300 today. Yesterday, the price was Rs 149,300.

Last week, the price of gold dropped by Rs 18,500 per tola in just two days.

The price of silver also saw a rise today, increasing by Rs 30 per tola to reach Rs 1,845. Yesterday, silver was priced at Rs 1,815 per tola.

Both gold and silver prices had sharply declined last week after the government reduced customs duties.
