PM Oli and Chinese Premier Li hold meeting in Beijing

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli, who is currently on a visit to China, held a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Beijing today.

The Chinese leadership welcomed Prime Minister Oli at the Great Hall of the People with a guard of honor from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

PM Oli is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call to Chinese President Xi Jinping today.

Following the reception, bilateral talks will take place between Prime Minister Oli and Premier Li, with representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in attendance.

Prime Minister Oli is visiting China at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

As part of his visit, he will address an event at Peking University.

Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that he will speak at the Nepal-China Business Forum, which is jointly organized by the Nepali Embassy in Beijing, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

After completing his engagements, Prime Minister Oli and his delegation will return to Nepal on December 5.
