UML holding Politburo meeting to discuss annual action plan

KAHTMANDU: The Politburo meeting of the ruling CPN-UML is scheduled to convene today at 1 p.m. at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

During the meeting, leaders are scheduled to review the party’s annual action plan, assess the current political situation, and evaluate the government, among other issues.

Rajendra Gautam, Head of the Publicity Department, stated that the meeting, which is expected to continue until tomorrow, will involve a detailed discussion of the party’s action plan for 2084 BS, as prepared by the party’s Secretariat.

The action plan also includes the completion of remaining district conventions, municipal and ward-level conventions, as well as campaigns for membership and organizational expansion.

Additionally, UML has resolved through a central committee meeting to undertake organization purification and strengthening campaign throughout 2081 BS.
