KATHMANDU: Light rainfall is currently observed in some areas across the country this morning, influenced by active monsoon winds.
The Weather Forecasting Division reports that the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy this afternoon, with light to moderate rain expected in several provinces.
The affected provinces include Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim, with a few places in Madhes and Karnali also experiencing rainfall.
Notably, heavy rain is likely in some locations within Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces this afternoon.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with chances of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Other provinces may also experience rain in isolated areas.
