RSP General Secretary joins Central Committee meeting with black tape over his mouth

KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) convened today at the party’s central office in Banasthali, Kathmandu.

During the meeting, General Secretary Dr. Mukul Dhakal made a striking statement by attending with black tape across his mouth, placed over his mask.

Dr. Dhakal had urged RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane to telecast the meeting live but resorted to this silent protest when his request was not fulfilled.

Party leader Kabindra Burlakoti disclosed that the meeting included a discussion on the review report submitted by Dr. Dhakal to Chairman Lamichhane last Wednesday.

The report covers the party’s activities across 38 districts.

The meeting is also addressing the latest political developments within the party and beyond.
