Parliamentary Committee to hold hearing on Pradhan’s nomination on Friday

KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament’s Parliamentary Hearing Committee has set Friday (July 5) for a parliamentary hearing concerning the nomination of Krishnaman Pradhan as Election Commissioner.

Earlier, on June 19, the committee had called for complaints regarding advocate Pradhan’s nomination, recommended by the Constitutional Council on June 16.

Pradhan, an election observation expert, resides in Tarakeshwor rural municipality-3, Nuwakot, and currently serves as the general secretary of the General Election Observation Committee (GEOC) and chairs the Rural Development Academy.
