Westerlies and local winds continue to influence Nepal’s weather

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that the partial influence of westerly winds and local winds persists across the country.

However, clear skies are forecasted for the majority of hilly areas.

According to the Division, Lumbini, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are likely to witness partly cloudy conditions this afternoon, while the rest of the region will experience partly clear skies.

The Division has issued a warning for possible storms in certain areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions as these conditions could impact daily life, including agriculture, health, tourism, mountain climbing, and transportation by road and air.
