Ministers meet NC President Deuba at his residence



KATHMANDU: Ministers from the Nepali Congress (NC) gathered for a joint meeting with party president Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The NC ministers held discussions with President Deuba at his residence.

Sources reveal that Deuba received updates on the performance and status of the party’s representatives in the cabinet led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’

Recently, there have been discussions about a potential reshuffle in the cabinet led by Prime Minister Dahal.

However, despite the Prime Minister’s intentions, President Deuba has opposed making decisions about ministers solely based on their performance.

This disagreement has stalled the cabinet reshuffle.

The Prime Minister is under pressure to dismiss ministers accused of corruption and embezzlement, but the reshuffle is pending until President Deuba provides approval for the move.
