PM Dahal holds separate talks with NC President Deuba and UML Chairman Oli



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has held discussions with former Prime Ministers duo Sher Bahadur Deuba and KP Oli on  on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) bill, focusing on truth verification, reconciliation, and dispute resolution at Baluwatar.

Sher Bahadur Deuba, President of the Nepali Congress, and CPN-UML Chair KP Oli engaged in spontaneous discussions with Prime Minister Dahal today.

Sources from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat have indicated that both the Congress and UML have expressed positive views on the bill.

While the UML had previously conveyed dissatisfaction with advancing the TRC, emphasizing the need to establish friendly relations first, they have recently shown a favorable attitude towards the bill.

Currently, the TRC bill is under consideration in the parliamentary Law Committee, which is actively deliberating on it today.
