PM Dahal inspects Udayapur Cement Industry



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Saturday made an inspection visit to Udayapur Cement Industries Limited at Jaljale in Udayapur district.

The PM inspected the industry’s plants and other important physical infrastructures there.

General Manager of Udayapur Cement, Khagendra Basnet, and other high-ranking officials briefed the PM about the status of the company.

On the occasion, PM Dahal said that industry should be run by upgrading it from the existing status.

Saying that he has taken this industry seriously, the Prime Minister expressed his readiness to run the factory in a sustainable way.

The state-owned company, which was established in 2044 BS with the assistance of Japanese government is not run in its full capacity at present.
