SC grants priority to Home Minister Lamichhane’s case, next hearing on June 10



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has taken the case filed against Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane seriously, granting it priority in hearing and proceeding on Sunday.

The single bench of Justice Til Prasad Shreshta granted Lamichhane’s case priority in hearing and scheduled its next hearing on June 10.

The Supreme Court has instructed both parties to engage in discussions regarding issuing an interim order promptly, indicating a swift resolution to the dispute.

Advocate Anupam Bhattarai filed a case against Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Lamichhane for the latter’s alleged involvement in cooperatives-related fraud.
