Vote counting begins for Ward Chairperson in Sanibheri, Rukum West



RUKUM WEST: The vote counting process has started for the ward no. 5 chairperson election in Sanibheri rural municipality.

According to the Office of the Election Officer, the by-election held today saw a voter turnout of 79.92%.

Out of the total 1,434 registered voters, 1,146 votes were cast.

All ballot boxes were transported to the counting center by 6 p.m.

Two candidates are competing for the position of ward chairperson, and the results are expected within two hours, as per the election office.
