Cabinet to discuss BRI ahead of PM’s China visit

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has called a cabinet meeting on the eve of his official visit to China, which is set to begin tomorrow.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will take place at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The cabinet is expected to discuss the agenda for the upcoming visit, with particular focus on Nepal’s priorities.

It is understood that the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) agreement with China will also be a key topic of discussion.
