Diesel to cost Rs 147.50 paisa per liter from today



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by one rupee per litre with effect from today.

With the price adjustment, diesel will cost 147 rupees 50 paisa per category A, 149 rupees for B and 150 rupees per liter for category C.

The NOC classifies Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birganj depots as category A, Surkhet and Dang as category B and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots as category C.

The price was adjusted as per the new purchase price received from Indian Oil Corporation, which decreased by 0.25 per litre in petrol and Rs 1.04 per litre in diesel.
