HoR meeting adjourned as ministers fail to attend

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting scheduled for Monday morning was promptly adjourned after none of the federal ministers attended.

At 11:30 am, Speaker Devraj Ghimire commenced the session, only for Nepali Congress MP Ramkrishna Yadav to highlight the absence of any Council of Ministers members.

Consequently, Speaker Ghimire announced a 15-minute adjournment due to the government’s non-representation.

The parliament session on Monday saw a low turnout of both ministers and parliamentarians.
