DUMRE: Vice Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and federal lawmaker, Dr. Swarnim Wagle, emphasized that creating jobs at the local level is crucial to curb the exodus of youths.

During a press meet organized in Damauli today, Vice Chairman Dr. Wagle suggested that governments should provide self-entrepreneurship and skill-oriented training to create job opportunities.

He informed that road expansion work would be intensified to mitigate the hassles people face, especially with the imminent rainy season.

The Vice Chairman noted that while the eastern belt of the highway is being expanded rapidly, progress in the western belt has been slower.

Dr. Wagle claimed that the government has allocated an adequate budget for Tanahu district for the coming fiscal year.

He highlighted that effective disaster management is a pressing agenda, emphasizing the need for cooperation from all sides.

He also pledged to take initiatives for compensating people for losses caused by fires and storms.

Meanwhile, the federal lawmaker visited victims of fire incidents and storms in the district on Saturday.
