DARCHULA: A 16-year-old girl died after being bitten by a snake that had entered her home in Lekam-4, Aaudigaun, Darchula.

Sunita Giri, a Grade 10 student at Latinath Namuna Secondary School, Chaupata, had fallen asleep after having lunch in the afternoon when the snake bit her inside the house.

According to Sovi Giri, a teacher at Latinath Secondary School in Aaudigaun, Sunita was killed by a snake bite around 7 p.m.
