BJP invites five Nepali parties for election campaign observation

KATHMANDU: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has invited five Nepali parties to observe its election campaign for the Lok Sabha election.

The BJP has sent invitations to leaders of 18 parties worldwide, including five from Nepal, to observe their election campaign.

The five parties to get invitation include Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Center, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Janamat Party.

The leaders receiving invitations are scheduled to reach Delhi on Wednesday.

BJP Chairman JP Nadda will welcome Nepali leaders at the party headquarters on Wednesday itself.

Along with Nepali parties, Awami League from Bangladesh, and United Russia Party led by Russian President Vladimir Putin, are also invited under BJP’s Global Outreach Program launched under Know BJP Campaign.

BJP’s Foreign Department Chief, Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, has informed about inviting leaders from 18 parties worldwide to Delhi for observing the election campaign.

The Nepali delegation to India includes Uday Shumsher Rana from NC, Bishnu Rimal from UML, Matrika Yadav from Maoist Center, Shishir Khanal from RSP, and Dr. Jayakant Raut from Janamat Party.

The leaders visiting Delhi for BJP’s invitation will also hold discussions with Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar.

They are also scheduled to meet Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, as mentioned by the BJP.

In addition to showcasing their election campaign, the BJP has also decided to provide information about its promotional strategies and methods.
