Parliamentary committee seeks NAC’s clarification on narrow body aircraft procurement

KATHMANDU: The International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives has issued a stern directive to the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) regarding suspected financial irregularities in the procurement of narrow-body aircraft.

In a meeting convened on Monday, the Committee mandated NAC to furnish a comprehensive clarification within a strict timeline of 15 days.

Chairman of the Committee, Rajkishor Yadav, explicitly instructed NAC to provide detailed documentation pertaining to the procurement of narrow-body aircraft.

Furthermore, Yadav emphasized the formation of a sub-committee tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
