Knowing the prices of fruits and vegetables in Kalimati today



KATHMANDU: The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Board has disclosed the market prices of various fruits and vegetables, providing a comprehensive overview of the day’s trading activities.

The committee unveiled a wide array of prices, including, green grapes at Rs 140 per kg, black grapes at Rs 200 per kg, bananas at Rs 130 per kg, pomegranates at Rs 280 per kg, and Indian oranges at Rs 120 per kg.

Likewise, the price of beetroot has been fixed at Rs 50, and strawberries at Rs 300 per kg.

Alongside these fruits, a variety of vegetables is also being traded, including ginger at Rs 200, red potato at Rs 45, red Indian potato at Rs 38, local cauliflower at Rs 15, gourd at Rs 60, lemon at Rs 240, local cucumber at Rs 30, dried chili at Rs 430, and green chili at Rs 90 per kg.

Additionally, the committee noted the trading of various beans and greens such as local cabbage at Rs 15, hybrid white radish at Rs 25, red radish at Rs 50, local beans at Rs 25, Rajma beans at Rs 80, and green pumpkin at Rs 30 per kg.
