Prabhu Sah accuses Kathmandu Metropolis of endorsing terrorism

KATHMANDU: Prabhu Sah, the Chairperson of the Janata Party and Member of Parliament, has leveled accusations against the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, asserting that it is endorsing terrorism.

Speaking during Friday’s parliamentary session, Sah expressed his concern that the metropolis has failed in its role as the guardian of Kathmandu’s residents.

“Terrorism is widespread in Kathmandu metropolis. Street vendors are being forcefully evicted, and the structures of the scrap dealers are being bulldozed, causing distress to the people,” he remarked.

Sah questioned whether the metropolis is adhering to the law and emphasized the need for it to be more accountable.

He urged the government to closely monitor the metropolis’s unlawful and widespread activities.
