KATHMANDU: Victims of loan sharking, protesting in Kathmandu with various demands, organized a human chain rally in the capital on Friday.

Highlighting the urgency of promptly addressing their demands, they collectively arranged a chain protest rally, commencing from Bhrikutimandap and concluding at Bhadrakali in Kathmandu.

They chanted slogans in support of their demands, specifically targeting loan sharking, and called for relief from the burdensome debt incurred due to usury.

Additionally, they pressed for the establishment of a judicial commission to address their concerns.

The Farmers’ Struggle Committee against Loan Sharking and Fraud has recently been conducting various programs in Kathmandu.
