KATHMANDU: Nepal has set a challenging target of 181 runs for Namibia to chase in the fourth match of the tri-nations T20I series.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Namibia’s bowlers managed to restrict Nepal to 180 runs, losing eight wickets in the process.

Ben Shikongo proved to be a key figure for Namibia, claiming three crucial wickets, while Jack Brussell supported the effort with two wickets. Additionally, Nicol Loftie-Eaton and Bernard Scholtz each contributed with one wicket.

On the batting front, Kushal Malla emerged as the top scorer for Nepal, smashing a half-century with 55 runs to his name. Aarif Sheikh, Gulsan Jha, and Anil Kumar Shah also made significant contributions, scoring 31, 26, and 23 runs respectively.

With Nepal’s hopes of securing a spot in the series final hanging in the balance, today’s match holds immense significance.

Having suffered defeats against both Namibia and the Netherlands in the previous encounters, Nepal is determined to turn the tide in their favor.
