Ruling coalition leaders meet at Baluwatar for crucial meeting on National Assembly seat allocation



KATHMANDU: Leaders of the ruling coalition are currently in session at Baluwatar to deliberate on the allocation of seats among member parties for the upcoming National Assembly (NA) election.

The primary agenda of the meeting is to determine the number of candidates each member party can field in the upcoming elections.

In addition to addressing seat allocation, the meeting will delve into contemporary political issues, providing a platform for leaders to discuss and strategize on key matters.

Present at the meeting are Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal, President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal, and other prominent leaders.

With the National Assembly election scheduled for January 25, the ongoing meeting holds significant importance in shaping the collective strategy of the ruling coalition and setting the groundwork for the electoral process.
