NC President Deuba emphasizes Tamu Lhosar’s role in cultural preservation



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba highlighted the significance of Tamu Lhosar, celebrated by the Tamu or Gurung community as their new year, in fostering the preservation of religion, culture, customs, and traditions.

In a heartfelt message on the occasion of this festival, he expressed that such cultural celebrations significantly contribute to fostering goodwill within Nepali society.
