Judicial Council appeals for its non-interference in its procedures

KATHMANDU: The Judicial Council has taken a firm stance against any undue interference in its ongoing process concerning Judge Navraj Thapalia of the High Court Surkhet’s Jumla Bench.

In a press release, the Council announced that it has urged Judge Thapalia to submit clarification under section 21 of the Judicial Council Act 2073.

According to the Council, this action stems from the findings of an inquiry committee report. It emphasized that any news or opinions arising during this period, which could potentially influence the due process being undertaken by the Council within its jurisdiction, will not be entertained.
