Indian PM’s Security Advisor Doval and Foreign Secretary Kwatra meet PM Dahal in New Delhi

Indian Prime Minister’s Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who is in New Delhi on a four-day visit to India, on Wednesday. On the first day of his visit to India, Prime Minister Dahal stayed at the Maurya Hotel in New Delhi. After being welcomed at the airport, the Prime Minister reached the hotel.

President Paudel authenticates Citizenship Bill

President Ram Chandra Paudel certified the Citizenship Bill on Wednesday. The Citizenship Bill, which was passed twice by the previous Parliament, was stopped at the President’s Office after the then President Bidya Devi Bhandari did not certify it.

World Bank to provide Rs 16 billion loans, 3.5 billion grants to Nepal

The World Bank has agreed to provide concessional loans worth about 16 billion rupees (120 million US dollars) and grants worth 3.5 billion (19.7 million US dollars) to Nepal. The agreement regarding the aid to be spent in the education sector was signed on Wednesday.
