Nepal sees three new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 23



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of three new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, two were detected through the RT-PCR method and one through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,021 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 161 were tested through RT-PCR method and 860 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 23 active cases in the country as seven infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
