Karnali Province’s CM Sharma secures vote of confidence



SURKHET: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Raj Kumar Sharma, the secured vote of confidence from the Province Assembly on Friday.

Out of 39 votes, CM Sharma of the CPN (Maoist Centre) got 38 votes.

Earlier, while taking a vote of confidence for the first time on January 20, he had received 25 votes.

The Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), CPN (Unified Socialist), and independent members gave trust votes to him.

Only a single vote of Santoshi Shahi of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party was cast against CM Sharma. The next meeting of the Karnali Province Assembly is scheduled for April 2.
