KATHMANDU: Various places in Kathmandu will experience a power outage lasting from four and a half to four hours today.

As per the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), power interruptions will occur from 10 AM to 2 PM in the areas falling under Sankhu feeder, including Mayapati, Bramhakhel, Indrayani, Sankhu, Jaharsingh Pauwa, and Nanglebhare areas.

Due to maintenance work at the 11 kV Mulpani substation connected to Sankhu feeder, there will be a four-hour power outage in those areas today, as announced by the Authority.

Similarly, in Lajimpat, Panipokhari, and Baluwatar areas, the power supply will be disrupted from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

NEA informed about the 4-5 hour power outage in these areas under Lajimpat feeder due to ongoing electrical infrastructure work.

NEA assured that the scheduled power line restoration will start beforehand provided the task is completed before the above-mentioned time.
