KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel  on Thursday appointed two non-resident Ambassadors to represent the nation in the Republic of Mozambique and Italy.

Based on the recommendations from the Government of Nepal, President Poudel appointed Ram Prasad Subedi, currently serving as Nepal’s resident ambassador for South Africa, as the non-resident Ambassador for the Republic of Mozambique.

Additionally, Dhan Bahadur Tamang, Nepal’s resident envoy for Switzerland, has been appointed as the non-resident Ambassador for Italy.
