Search for fugitives continues in Principal’s murder case



KATHMANDU: The police have intensified the search for the 35-year-old Rupesh Swarnakar, a resident of the same sub-metropolitan city-1 who died on Monday afternoon in Madarsa Tole.

Swarnakar is the director and principal of Bal Ekta Boarding School located in the same place. It is said that Rupesh was shot while going to school after taking lunch from the market.

The police said that they are intensifying the search for the fugitives involved in the incident and are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.

Four unknown people who came in 2 motorbikes had opened fire at Principal Swarnakar leaving him critically injured.

After the incident, he was rushed to Narayani Medicity Bayodha Hospital Birgunj through Kalaiya Hospital, where he died during treatment.

The police recovered 4 pistol cartridges from the incident site.
